Hi;
I did a mistake on the main form and swapped first name and last name. Once I realized it, raised a webform and explained what happened. It was corrected next day and the biometric shows completed now.
My very last day of my processing time was for yesterday 37 days exactly. Based on previous experience they declined my very first application in 16 days then i saw another guy being declined twice within the same time frame, do you think might being delayed have a positive impact?
I applied in Jan 17th my country processing time is 37 and it's been 40 days today, waiting for final decision as well. Hopefully they will give us update today.

Canada is extremely strict on their visit visas now more than ever, due to exploitation i guess. My dad is well travelled & has US AUSTRALIA SCHENGEN stamps, no one asked for the info they did lol

any update on your side?
We applied on 31 Jan. No update since biometric was completed on 06Feb, although eligibility shows completed on tracker with background in progress for both in-laws.
Now it is officially over normal processing times.
Guys, help!! I applied for my wife's visitor visa on Jan 15, it's approved on Feb 21, but the "approval letter" is not generated yet. I see the visa expiry and document number, but the letter which is required for visa stamping isn't generated. Her outland sponsorship is in progress as well. VFS is not taking the passport for stamping without the letter. I called IRCC call center twice, they say you have to wait, that's all. Please advise....
