For a supervisa, you include your Notice of Assessment to show you meet LICO (Low income cut off).

Yes, bank Statment are must either from sponsor or from your mother, showing proof of fund. It doesn’t necessary have to be from you. If your mother can bear expense herself, it’s not an issue.

anyways, do you know if we need to upload digital passport size photo of applicant during submission?

Hey Guys, I submitted super visa application for my mother in law on 11th March, 2024 and processing time is already elapsed but there is not update for PPR.

I am not sure how many days they are going to take, its really frustrating. Anyone with same timeline or submission date received PPR?

Now I am hoping to contact MP as application is stuck for more than 4 months. Do you think I should be able to get MPs help for her application?

Or do my mother need to authorize me as representative to IRCC for this application first?

What do you mean stuck? Where is she applying from? You need to be authorized as her rep.

Well stuck doesn't really mean stuck for a reason but it is just a historical thing with IRCC; it is either a matter of weeks or years. So, it is better to try a few things if it is more than few months for a visitor visa.

Thought you said super-visa. If you applied from Pakistan, processing is around 288 days or 9 months so it is not stuck if applied 4 months ago. No need to get MP involved.

Submit on Mar 18th and Medical passed on May 2th.

My mother's super visa application is under process. We submitted her upfront medical exam, but almost a month later, we received a medical request on her account as if they hadn't seen the upfront medical. I was a bit worried and tried to gather information and planned to call IRCC. However, when I checked the account after the long weekend, the medical was passed.

So now that the medical is passed and there are no more actions required from the applicant according to the file, my question is: Should I get another medical done for my mother under the IME they sent us, just to be safe, so that there are no issues later on? @Naturgrl

File a police report, and then contact your country's embassy in Canada, they will be able to issue you a new passport, and then you have to contact IRCC to arrange for your stamping.

And be more careful with your passport in future.

I already got a new passport and I have filed the necessary documents and Canada embassy said it takes 5 weeks but it’s over 5 weeks now, no response yet, I don’t even know if I did the right thing

No update its still in background check. I submitted the web form twice but no answer. I even submitted a web form to add me as representative(as agent is representative for now) but no update on that as well.

Whats your status?
