Yesterday I applied for In Canada common-law + dependent sponsorship (I'am a PR), am I on the right forum or thread here?
Does anybody know after applying how long until receive AOR?

Yes, your job TEER does not matter when sponsoring your partner.

When I talked with an ircc agent he said my criminality is complete but eligibility is showing not started. I didn't get SA or AIP letter too. But do they do the criminality check before or after eligibility? I am just worried why my eligibility is still showing not started.

Does this means your background check is completed? When did you applied?

No he said security check not started yet. I applied in January 23rd and got aor in February 01 2024

Same here, been waiting for weeks now with no updates... Seems to be the case for everyone at the moment so likely nothing to be worried about. I've also linked my OWP application at the top of February and haven't heard back here either.

Hi all, I received the Pre-Arrival Services Letter today (2024-05-08). Currently on a Visitor visa, awaiting PR and SOWP. Can I start studying English as outlined in the Pre-Arrival Services Letter, or should I wait until I receive the COPR? Thanks!

my husband has been requested to do biometrics and pay the fee end of February and biometrics were done March 9th and there has been no update. Not even saying that it has been recieved. Is this normal ?

received AOR on April 19.
Medical passed April 30
but after then no update.

Did you receive biometric letter?
