I have a question, I do see my tracker status changes and there is test invitation from July 06-July 23. However, did not receive the email yet. I do remember reading somewhere in the form that we only get the email 2 days prior to the test date and we really do not need that email to do the test. Can someone make it clear for me?

Yes, that's right. You'll receive an email very close to the date of the test.

I am januray 2020 applicant in Kitchener local office. This is the respond I received today from my Mp.


I have spoken with IRCC and they have informed me that your application for citizenship has currently been put on hold along with all applications for citizenship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.



Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, all citizenship applications have been put on hold but are hoping to start again shortly. Once the applications begin to be processed, there will be a large delay in getting caught up again.

Congrats for your test invitation. Do you mind sharing the date of your background completion as shown in the new tracker ?

Background Verification, Language Skills, Prohibitions, Physical Presence are still showing "IN PROGRESS". I was requested to provide scanned passport all pages 2 weeks back and I have emailed already and also requested finger printing which I have completed too.
