Mine changed to DM 2 months ago, the citizenship ceremony status is still "not started"... They are taking their time!

Can someone explain to me why some people had their DM status changed but no other info ( oath , ceremony dates)
I applied in September 2020 and just checking to see what other people are doing with their time line. How long does it take to know what decision was made if no progress in the system
I applied 19 months ago. Still waiting for DM.

Iv been waiting over 2 months.

That's weird. I guess there is no set pattern in that case. Hopefully soon for both of us

My tracker updated today June 29- citizenship test completed .

My husband's tracker updated today as citizenship test completed. He completed his test April 22!! Over 2 months to update his file...wow!

I am januray 2020 applicant in Kitchener local office. This is the respond I received today from my Mp.


I have spoken with IRCC and they have informed me that your application for citizenship has currently been put on hold along with all applications for citizenship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.



Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, all citizenship applications have been put on hold but are hoping to start again shortly. Once the applications begin to be processed, there will be a large delay in getting caught up again.

they should stop all the new application and finish all the old ones people waiting 2 years! and also for some reason a lot of people who has application from end 2019- start 2020 still waiting and some people whos application arrived at the end of 2020 already finished and a couple had the ceremony .... thats a joke
