As my partner (PA) is leaving April 2 (his IEC visa expires April 5th) we will be moving back in with my parents on March 31st. When should I notify CIC about the address change? In the case that they return anything, I do not want them sending our package to the apartment if we're not living there any longer.
Like everyone keeps saying, I think we just need to be patient although I know that's difficult when we are all anxious to get this process done and get on with our lives.
We had a flurry of activity for a few days and it seems things have slowed a little but that isn't a bad sign, just a "relax" a little sign. Keep checking but don't panic! Hang in there and good luck to all ...
I am the sponsor and am visiting my husband (PA) in Costa Rica until April 8th.
1) The medical request that was sent to my email (because I am his representative) for him was correct. However, the medical request that was sent for his dependent daughter (who is not accompanying him to Canada) has her name typed incorrectly on it. Her surname is Vargas Badilla and they have used his surname, Vargas Pacheco.
The medical centre in San Jose where the medical exams are done has offered but don't think they can fix it for me. Any ideas of what I can do from down here to correct this problem so we can make an appt. and get the medicals done?
2) When I sent fees in for his application I didn't include fees for biometrics. How can I now pay those fees so that he can do them on the same trip to San Jose as the medicals?
I realize they have to be requested by IRCC but thinking since the payment hasn't been made, it may take them longer to request it. Any thoughts?
Hi guys I received an Email from Centralized Intake Office with an attachement , It says as first line that " We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as Sponsor " .....What does it mean

That's good! Seems like they're doing January applicants now! They received my application last January 18. I hope I'll get my turn soon. I'm worried they it'll be returned
