Got your point.. I think as yiso91 said "It doesn't follow any pattern and therefore unexpected." Probably, after submitting the ADR (IMM5669), soon you guys will receive an update on MEP and BIL.

RPRF - March 15th

MyCIC has been showing Background Status as In Progress since AOR, can someone please tell what stage my application is in based on dates mentioned above?

Any updates directly related to your application (i.e. MEP , BIL , PRPF , PPR) all come in form of an email either as only '' Email notification '' or plain text in the case of PPR.

However, I check my application 1ce a week and yesterday it had changed to "we are processing your background check".

I have logged on cic everyday and checked the status. It’s so weird last night: there was “application updated/(sth. I forgot)” on the page after logging in, and then no status changed when I clicked and opened my case except only the status bar back, which showes estimated time shortened to 4 months left.

My AOR is on Jan. 21st, CEC.

After I posted this thread, I received an email from cic “Your application(Exxxxxxxxx) has been updated”. But nothing has changed except the bar when I logged on this time, either.

Same happened to me a few days ago...I got an email update but nothgin is updated online. I see you post is old, have you got any update since the above post?

I’m 9jan aor
I got MEP n Bio on 19 feb and got my bio completed on 27Feb

My BG also changed to “In progress”
But till today hasn’t hanged back to “we are processing”

What do u think next PPR or status will go back to IN progress as claimed IP1 and IP 2 ??
