RPRF - March 15th

MyCIC has been showing Background Status as In Progress since AOR, can someone please tell what stage my application is in based on dates mentioned above?

You shouldn't expect any prompt updates guys. Just wait for PPR to arrive anytime around July time. If you are lucky enough and your documents/application is perfect then it might happen sooner

Nope , some people get their BIL very much on the same moment they receive MEP updates and others wait for a week or so to get it. Not sure if this caused by system bug or it is intentional by IRCC side ?

Aor 22 Jan, BIL / MEP 27 Feb, Biometrics completed 3 March. applying as FSW-O from UAE.

before getting the biometrics collection letter, I got a request letter to pay for biometrics online and upload the receipt to my application, this changed the status of my additional documents to "we are reviewing the additional documents you provided" which is the online payment receipt.

it is almost three weeks now and I am getting worried, is this normal ++ I haven't seen any one saying that we should upload the payment receipt

If anyone experienced the same situation, please advise.

That's very weird. When I lodged my application , I did not have a choice to skip biometrics fees , I only had an option to defer RPRF which I didn't and paid as well.

Now that you did what you needed to do as per their instructions, then you don't need to worry about it.

It is already completed since you got MEP update and also a request for biometrics which usually indicate that your application have now been forwarded for processing and is moved forward in the process.

Biometrics enrolled on 28 feb
My cic account still says that my fingerprints are required and they have not been updated. However biometrics of my dependent spouse have been updated the same day ie 28 feb. anyone facing same issues?? Any ideas about this delay?? I have raised webform as well for this issue but no reply..

I had an update in my profile, it says "profile updated". But there was nothing updated or I didn't get email. Well my progress bar changed to 4 months to 17 weeks. Anyone has this kind of update? Do we get update for progress bar change?
