Hey man! What was your background status message before BIL and MEP?
Mine says " We are processing your background check..........." Since AOR.

It was showing as Not Applicable just before MEP was added. I got an update email went online and I saw status as updated, moments later I signed off and in again and I saw MEP and also BIL.

60 days from AOR... No MEP No BIL.... not even any ADRs...nothing changed in Status except UCI number ... is it possible that my file has not been assigned to any officer to work on... or what else can be the reason for this unusual delay in MEP and Biometrics ...?

Did you get assigned a UCI number that starts with 1111-xxx-xxx ? If not , then that means your application have not yet been opened yet by anyone.

I had an update in my profile, it says "profile updated". But there was nothing updated or I didn't get email. Well my progress bar changed to 4 months to 17 weeks. Anyone has this kind of update? Do we get update for progress bar change?

This is called a Ghost update , usually an indication that your file have been updated in the GCMS by an agent which is obviously a very good thing.

Looking at immitracker, ealy Dec AORs are starting to get PPR ...I guess.

Lucky ones. They only represent small portion of the total population. If you also go back around Oct and Nov , many still waiting for PPR.

Unless, IRCC have figured out a way to cut down on processing time, these cases are isolated and do not represent the general trend for the timebeing.

I hope we all get our PPR as soon as possible

Jan 12 is my AOR. But my medicals are in review. I didn't pass my medicals yet.

You are correct. I agree.
Actually, the processing times for all aspects including temporary visa such as student, work have gone up. Hence, I expect it only take longer but not shorter.

This happened to me also. Progress bar post Biometrics was 4 months. It changed to 17 weeks.

NO idea as the status messages dont really mean anything. It all depends on IRCC these days. So just buckle up and be patient buddy! Keep us updated on your progress!

BIL - MARCH 17TH (Logged in mycic - account says application updated and Biometrics says "Completed")

MyCIC has been showing Background Status as In Progress since AOR, can someone please tell what stage my application is in based on dates mentioned above?
