I thought MyCIC was just for submitting online applications? Are they planning on phasing out ECAS and I would hope theyd atleast let us know if they were transfering our info... This is so confusing.

Since im the PA and my wife is sponsor currently living in canada and im in bosnia, she called from canada CIC and they told here that after some time UCI number was removed after your application was moved to your Visa office responsible for my native country...only way i can now login is using recipe number and using my PA info since i dint get mail for my AOR2....i have 3 line on PA side and its in progress since 21 march and i hope i will get soon some info

Yup, unfortunately Vienna doesn't send AOR2 but it's really strange to remove your UCI number.
This number stays for good and appears as ID number in PR ID card.

We will se what is going to happen and i hope i will get answer until end of May since until now they didnt ask for any additional documents(medical, police clearances and payment for PR card all done upfront) and i have 3 lines and saying in progress since 21 march :

I tried that using the receipt number and it still doesnt work. IT support was not helpful and didn't see a problem with my ecas log in. They just replied explaining to me how to log in which I already knew how. ><

That's exactly what it means! Member of Parliament. The local MP office for my riding is who helped me.

Oooooh! Did you just call and explain your situation and they looked into it? How did you find out who the person was that you should contact?

hi jr4210 since my grandparents are applying for TRV. their application can be updated via GC KEY already.
No , it's not the same thing as how you log in on ECAS , because you need to create an account and LINK IN your PR Application for the details to come out

Family class applications won't be able to be linked to MyCic online until May 26,2016

Thanks stephan Ill just have to wait then till May 26,2016 to try and link my paper application to my cic if E-Cas continues to give me problems. Tried logging in again today but didnt work.
