Hi all i send my missing(not signet) Imm5406 two days ago with DHL as they asked from me via email, it has just arrived in mississauga! Does any one know if this means that i just missed this paper or i could be asked to send some additional papers as well? Tnx

When did you send your application? If they were just asking for that one document I am assuming that is all they will need.

Hi can you please clarify what should i put in the document checklist if i am not submitting any form? for example, i do not have a representative and as a result i won't be submitting the rep form but i am confused what should i put in the checklist should i just leave that checkbox or should i write N/A. please help

When did you send your application? If they were just asking for that one document I am assuming that is all they will need.

My application arrived in mississauga on 5th january, and on 25th january they send me e mail with this:

Your application is incomplete; you will find details of the item(s) that are missing from this
application below:
• You must provide a current, SIGNED and completed Additional Family Information
(IMM5406). This form should be completed for the Principal Applicant (regardless of age) and all
dependents aged 18 and over that are listed on the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM0008),
whether accompanying or not. For further instructions, refer to the CIC Website at
http..... and select the appropriate Family
Class category under “Immigrate to Canada Permanently” to access general and region-specific
instruction guides and immigration forms.

i know i send that form and filled it goodm, only thing i maybe missed is signing thats why text is caps locked in there reply

Forgot to add chat,emails and phone bills to my sponsor application there will be any issue how can i update now. I sent my file on Jan 17th and they received on Jan 20th 2016

Calculate approx 60 days from the time you sent the application. Once you hit the 60 days plus you should receive some sort of correspondence

I have tried to go on the website to check the status of my application by entering my receipt number ...but it says that there is no record due to them not opening the application yet. 40 days to go until we hear something...approximately

If they have opened our applications,we can check them using the receipt number? Or is it just the UCI number that could let us check?

You can check with your receipt number...if you go on the website...check application status and it will allow you to choose between I think 6 options. Click receipt number and then enter the information. But if they did not open your app yet it will state that after you enter all the information.

Huh i send IMM5406 as they wanted in mail and they recived it yestreday by Mailroom Dave...can someone tell me when i can expect next contact and what is next step in processing app? I hope they wont ask for any additional papers :-[

It says on the website 63 days from when you send your application.

My application has reached CIC on 12 January 2016. When would I get my AOR ?? I wanted to apply for my visitor visa so waiting for my UCI number
