Congrats!!! Hopefully I get mine soon, it's been a LONG time coming. But they still have to process my CSQ into their system so I'm guessing another month. Though I hope not.
so you are still languishing sent mine 1/17 with a resend in March. SA in July then CSQ request for September which I had a hard time getting all the documents ( it was very difficult and expensive to get a color copy) so they received it on 11/5. So some is my fault but why it took 4 months for SA is ridiculous. People from June are done. Mine got bumped I guess.
I feel kind of sad that I keep complaining on here but I feel that I was not treated fairly in the beginning, I want an explanation of what happened. I just feel so frustrated and unfortunately this place became my outlet. I really hope I at least get my DM or some word soon.

I found a good thread that explained how to bring goods with you in the landing process, but i had questions about wedding gifts.
It says that wedding gifts qualify is the wedding took place 3 months prior or three months after the landing... but seriously.. unless you do an inland application, there is pretty much no way of that ever happening.
- What is the monetary value limit of the goods im allowed to bring in (i know we'll have to filll up form B4)
- Has anyone brought in their wedding gifts a year after their wedding
Received the paperwork in the mail yesterday. Will be landing on the 31st ! starting 2015 on the right foot and putting 2014 behind us.
Thanks to everyone on this thread. It has made our experience a little better. So much better that on the gov site, there should be a link to this website.
I hope you will all get the answer you have been waiting. SOONer than later. You certainly deserve it.
I landed on December 12th at Pearson Int'l Airport. Took 2 minutes with the immigration guy who signed my CoPR, and 5 mins with the SIN guy, and 5 minutes with the ladies in red who gave you a welcome to Canada bag.

Welcome to Canada Graihn. I completed your line on the sheet.
My wife will also land at Pearson, on January 7th if everything goes well. Im glad to see that the process is hassle free.
May I ask you what time you arrived? My wife is arriving around 9pm and I wonder if she will have the same kind of welcome late at night.

Kingston decided to send me an early Christmas present.
My husband landed on December 20th. The passport was finally sent to him on December 19th and he picked it up on the morning of the 20th before his flight. The issue date on the visa was December 5th, one day after they received it... but some reason they held onto it for another 2 weeks. Oh well.. doesn't really matter now!!
Please update my line on the spreadsheet. The province is Alberta. Thanks!!
