8 weeks for SC and 10 weeks for OCI would make it tough but if things happen beforehand for any you should just be able to make it.

I talked to a BLS staff member and they said I will get SC in 4 weeks.

Anyone Who applies postal or walkin in ottawa bls in August 2023?

Applied Sep 1st at Ottawa BLS walk-in. In the same boat as you. "Processing at High Commission". I'm wondering if we would have been eligble to apply through any other BLS, and if it would've made things easier. Not sure how long the OCI will take through Ottawa, given the delay seen for SC.

Toronto and Vancouver are not seeing slow down. They are processing really well.
It's just Ottawa which has slowdown.

I did a postal application for passport surrender and it was delivered to BLS Brampton on Oct 12. However, I dont see any update on BLS tracker or Passport Seva website. Anyone have any idea hiw long will it take to see updates. Thanks

Correct, i applied for SC in-person in Brampton location on oct 3rd, the staff member said that i should be receiving the certificate within 3 to 4 weeks. SC is printed and is Ready for Dispatch.

Toronto and Vancouver are not seeing slow down. They are processing really well.
It's just Ottawa which has slowdown.

Mine is in process at Toronto since 3 weeks and it still shows Under review at consulate.
