It was an Ordeal as I had applied under Tatkal, just because I need to be in India in March...
I sent two email to CGI
Set up two enquiry @ Sampark.
No response yet..
Lesson Learned:
A) Apply at least 3 Months in advance. Even tatkal can be delayed...
B) CGI barely responds to queries or even acknowledges it regardless of the emergency except in case of sudden death/illness of immediate family members
Hello @Ank1980 , thank you for this information. I just wanted to ask one thing. I currently have submitted my passport re issuance application but I am not able to get any dates in Brampton or Mississauga. Could you please let me know whether you tried finding a date on BLS website or you called to book a walk in appointment? Much appreciate the help.
Bro, there was no appointment available for PPT renewal in Jan, I just walked into BLS Mississauga (I think this center opened in Jan 2024). I had to negotiate with the Guard to get in.
Today I finally received my Passport. It took almost 6weeks for me.
