How much time does it take for CIC to get on a decision after the Biometrics correspondence letter. It has been weeks and weeks, still no response. Feels really frustrated, are they waiting to get the COVID-19 gone completely and then they can finalize?

in the same boat. Got the letter on June 5th. Nothing after. I hope they are not holding applications from abroad due to COVID

I think they are probably doing it because the VACs are not open in India yet? How will you get it stamped?

I got my biometric correspondence letter on April 6th no update after that.. but I ordered GCMS notes it shows application is approved and passport request letter is on hold.. I think we can just request high commission of Canada in Delhi to give permission to vfs to open through twitter

I think it's still showing in process..it will keep showing in process until they send the passport request letter .. so how many here wanna talk to embassy? We should talk to them together that will make a difference

Hi sure, count me in. My work permit also approved in May but account still shows in process.

How do u know it's approved? GCMS notes? Same with me approved in April 6th same day I got correspondence letter
