No update. I applied on Jun 28th. Got correspondence on Sept 21. What about you?

whoa that's a terribly long wait. did you raise any webforms after the 13-week mark and did you get any response?

I applied on Aug 18th and got BVL on Sept 13th and it's been radio silence since then, no responses to webforms either.

I applied from India via non-SDS because the trends at the time suggested it would process faster than SDS.

Was your LoA for Winter semester or did you have to defer from Sept '22 intake to Jan '23 intake?

Yeaah. Im from Kerala. I actually deffered to January 2022. Do we have any other option to contact them othere than web forms?

Reapplied SDS on Sep 15th. Got BVL on Oct 31st. Waiting since....
Only thing we need to know is if its same as last year where they withheld decisions since VFS offices were closed.
So if its too many then what is the reason now?!
I see lot of people are waiting for more than 2 weeks, sometimes crossing 1 months

If anybody has a theory please let us know....

Due to covid lockdowns the VFS offices were not open for long, once they started opening they did not give PPR letter to all since it will flood the offices with passport stamping requests. So they released final decisions in batches, hence bvls were given soon and ppr or refusals later.
This time not sure what is the held up, this is valid only if there are many in 'BVL only' list. If there are not many then this is normal I guess. They are checking more or a technical glitch.

So I called IRCC and the IVR system said my file is in review. But could not get through to the agent, frankly I dont have the guts to ask a human what is the status!

Lot of threads and videos on youtube tell that the decision is made hence the bvl, but this is not true all the time.

If you don't get the approval in time for Jan intake, will you be deferring again? I'm dreading the possibility of that happening.

Also I've heard some people use virtual SIMs which allocate them Canadian numbers to contact IRCC but I don't think I'd take the risk of lying to the agent at CPC and being found out.

There's also a form that can be filled where you can enter contact info of someone you know in Canada who can inquire them on your behalf, but since they're ignoring my webforms i don't have much hopes in them acknowledging the form I'd upload.
