How long does it take to get an approval after receiving a correspondence letter

Tbh it’s depends some people get it after 8 days some 20 days and some even more.

Okay that’s good to hear. I don’t think background check is such a big deal. I always thought eligibility is the hardest part

I hope they keep processing applications, especially since ours are outside of Canada which normally shouldn't be affected

well I'm not really sure about it. I also have this question tbh. Normally I get notifications early morning, just once I got an update asking about additional documents middle of the day in the afternoon like 2-3PM my place time. Thats of course is not Canadian time because it must be middle of the night in Canada at that time

yeah and because of that I have a feeling this current strike might not disturb local VO application processes (outside Canada)
especially when it comes to study visa/work permits etc

I got the same update but I can see the visa document number and expiry since receiving the BVL.
Did you not receive the BVL yet?
