Hi Sanjida, I'm sorry about that. In any immigration program you have to convince officer to approuve your application and on H&C it's even more difficult because mostly we didn't have much to offer in exchange yet, unlike skilled worker streams, etc.
With misrepresentation, the problem is that it's will be very difficult to convience any officer, unless you have a good lawyer that can firstly solve misreprensentation problem. And I heard that with misrepresentation you have 5 years ban where you can't apply for any immigration stream.
Please if you don't have any conultant or lawyer start looking for a good one in your area to advise you properly and tell you if you can apply or if there are any other way to make it work for you.

Very weird situation. My security is done since september, and we are almost in december but nothing shows in my application. last week when I finaly got an agent on phone he told me they only wait for security to be done. I said to him that I got a letter from CSIS telling me my checks are done since september, he then advise me to rise an inquiry asking for my file to be update, that's what I did.

I know it from Canadian Security Intelligence Service "CSIS" that conducted my checks. I asked ATIP notes from them.
I would like to raise a news thread about H&C application. I know we already got few on this forum but you will agree with me that H&C still a mystery for most of his applicant.
Other immigration programs have so much threads and are well documented. So I wish we can create at least one more for H&C. I have to admit that these programs are less unpredictable in terme of processing time so it much easier to rely on another appliquant timeline to guess your's. But lets try to combine as much infos as we can to get an idea of what we are going through.
I thought about timeline spreadsheet but I have no idea how to create it in this forum.
