Nova Scotia do replies on Saturday or Sunday because I have paid my gic on 28th June and today is 7th July I haven't got any mails about it please help
HEy bro! Did you initiate the wire payment on 28th or the money got deducted on 28th..??
Case 1:
Because if you complete wire payment formalities on 28th , it takes upto 2 business days for money to get deducted.. so 28th and 29th will be gone in processing , then 30th June , 1st July and 2nd July , were holidays in canada ..
And after that 3,4,5,6 it is just 4-5 working days in total.. so you don't need to worry , you will get gic if this is the case.
Case 2: if money got deducted on 28th , then 28 and 29June , 3,4,5,6 July.
Its 6 business days .
So you should check your scotia secure webmail , you might have received gic.
And if you have not , then in both cases you should get it on Monday night.
If you have any doubt , call the scotiabank on monday night because saturday and sunday is off.
I am sorry to say but yes bro.. even i got gic rejected for this reason ,
But if it is little different , then it might not cause problem but if it is completely different like city and PIN Code.. then they will not accept.
Yes sure bro , i did the same , ask your bank to update the address and send the payment back. You will be charged $50 approx. But it is better then waiting for refund.
Umm.. I am not sure but it might not cause problem because PIn and City is same..
So you should think positive..
Best you can do is contact scotiabank and ask them if they have accepted the funds.. their no. Is 0008001008747..
If they have rejected , then go to your bank as soon as possible , update your address and send the payment back , it will save you time and money both..
Yes There are... But you should plan in case it gets rejected , so go to bank and get the address updated.. then talk with scotiabank ,if accepted, then its well and good , if rejected , revert the same payment with updated address..in my case i revert payment on 25June and got certificate on 3rd July night... So it was quite fast as 30,1,2 were holidays in canada. Don't worry..
Ohhhh.. i can understand the frustration bro.. even i am going to apply for september.. i will apply on monday...
If you apply through sds , then you have good chances of visa.. don't loose hope..
