So I applied for a GIC Account today with ScotiaBank and I received the account number and other details. But I wanted to know how much exactly INR do I need as the Currency Exchange rate fluctuates everyday? And also how do I wire transfer money with Vijaya Bank? Did anybody do GIC Wire Transfer with Vijaya Bank here? If yes then can you please help me?
Thanking you in anticipation and awaiting for your reply!
Recently did the gic.. you will need to mention the amount as $10200 and as per the rate ull need around 5 lakhs 8 thousand depends on the rate on the day u pay your GIC. No idea about vijaya bank.. should be the same like the other banks. Get a outward remittance wire transfer fill in the form with pan card copy and check with the bank name

Can you please tell me what additional documents I will need to bring with me to the bank? And how much time did it take you to complete the whole GIC process? Thanks brother
Ull need your pan card with you that's it and a blank check which u will fill and pay to the bank with the amount as per the rate of exchange. The swift transfer takes 3-4 days once the bank - Scotia gets the payment they will give the investment receipt

Ok thanks bro. One more thing, i'm confused with the Bank address. There's two of them. Which one should I mention in the form? And should I ask for a "Outward Remittance Form" in the bank?
You mean this one right? Below the "Send Instructions To:" details?
