Section A: Fill in your information
Section B: Spouse information (Note: If you're also seeking information about your spouse/common law partner)
Section C: Designated individual's contact information (In your case, your friend's info)
Most people fill just Sections A & C, but it all depends on what is applicable in each individual case.
Both Sections A & C must be signed by you and your designated individual (your friend)
Thank you. I am a PA and my wife is SA. So i guess i would need to fill in Section A and B. There is no field for Signature in Section C. Sec A and B has only one signature field where in me and my wife are supposed to sign it. Is it necessary that my friend also needs to sign next to it?

You're right, there is no signature field in Section C....sorry about the mix up! Just have Sections A & B signed by you and your wife, then fill in the info of your friend in Section C.
Its not necessary for your friend to sign next to your signature.

Hey,
after PPR and after getting the Permanent resident visa stamped in our Passport along with two COPR's papers, is that enough for landing in Canada or do we need a PRTD?
I am flying in from India directly to Canada.
Please Advice. Will the Stamp and COPR be sufficient?? or we need our PRTD for our first/Initial landing as well.
Hi Viksal84, the change in the additional documents signifies that your file has left or is about to leave CIO to a Local Visa Office where your application will be finalized. So i guess it is good news, because you are closer to PPR once it leaves CIO

Hi Funter28 and Hirencool, don't worry as long as you have gotten the "no additional documents required change", the file will move to LVO, maybe they are moving them in batches. I know a guy who said his documents status changed to "not needed" but a mail sent after that changed confirmed it was still in Sydney. It eventually moved a few days after. So it will move, at least you have seen that change, i am yet to see that change in my account.
Hi guys. Just got a reply from cpc ottawa. They have moved my application from cio sydney to singapore visa office. I have no idea why they have sent it to singapore though I am currently residing in abu dhabi.
Hi Seakomol, most likely you are still in IP1 because the PCC is outstanding, go ahead and raise a cse and attach the PCC. I advise that you do not wait for a request to be made because until you pass criminality, your file might not move.
I submitted my additional documents on September 4, but one thing that I am seeing repeatedly on this forum is that the status for the Additional Documents changes to 'Additional Documents are being reviewed'. I never saw this on my profile. It still says 'No additional documents are required'. Does this mean they have not yet started reviewing the additional documents? My Background Check status says 'We will let you know once we start your background check'.

Hi PDChicago, before you submitted your additional documents, what was the status of your additional documents being reviewed? And what is your timeline. It seems CIO transfers the file to a LVO after they have spent two months (for july applications though). So I have a feeling that even though that document was outstanding, CIO has forwarded your file to a LVO, that is why it is still showing "No additional documents required". Once they open your file at the LVO, it will change again and they will review it. By the way, what was your ADR?

Hi Funter28, it will most likely be due to workload redistribution and i observed that files do not go to Abu Dhabi or Accra. I have noticed that most applications that you expect will go to Abu Dhabi or Accra end up going to other Visa Offices, maybe they are overworked. No fear, the most important thing is PPR. By the way, good news for me my additional documents status has changed to "not required". I guess my file is also being shipped off as well.
