I have a question and will appreciate your opinion or experiences in this case. In case if somebody got PPR but currently is not in Canada or US to send the passport to Ottawa, then should send the passport to another Visa office. I was wondering in this case still only the passport and a copy of the PPR email is required or need to submit additional documents (such as photos, etc)? I sent an email to CPC yesterday but haven`t received any answer yet!
It is explained here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=748&t=22
Here are the list of offices: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/help.asp
I repeat my question given that previous one was left at the end of the last page !!
Is it possible to book a landing appointment by local CIC office before getting COPR/VISA?
One of my friends was able to do that. However, I would recommend you to wait until you get your CoPR and Visa to make sure there is no mistake and then get an appointment.
Congratulations! Quite similar with my case.
I am living in Alberta and originally from South Korea (visa waiver country).
I got my DM on the same day with you (7 Jan.), and I received CoPR today.
So it took me 7 days to get CoPR.
I am planning landing tomorrow.
Thanks all you guys. I got a lot of help and information here and your postings have relieved my anxiety very much. Hope you all become PR soon.
