Hi Diplomatru ,

Can this be an indication of how long they will take from receiving the passport till sending it back ? I mean this guy got DM on Jan 7th and got COPR after 5 days.

I am asking because I am Egyptian but based in Canada, and I sent them my passport which arrived there yesterday 10AM.
The problem is that I need to travel on January 25 and I need my passport back before this date ...what should I do ?

His timeline is not applicable to people who need a visa to enter Canada.
They take up to 30 days to send the passport back. You can try your luck with the call centre, but it could be to no avail. Best case scenario with return tracker activation I witnessed so far is 10 days.

This is exactly my concern ... I hope the early receivers of PPRs will keek us posted about how long did it take cic to send back the passports with visas....
I will post once they activate the tracker .... My passport reached there Jan 12 at 10AM .... I need it before Jan 25

Did the 10 days case happen recently ? For those got ppr after the winter break ?

No, it dates back to April 2015. No member of this group has reported return tracker activations this year.

Bro the requested most of December applicants pp to be delivered at the same time. U r looking at least for 2 weeks to send it back. I just hope u can get a refund if you cancel your plane ticket.
