FEW QUESTIONS ON SPOUSE SPONSOR FOR MY PR

Hi,

Wow what a super forum ..

I'm a british citizen and wfe is a candaian citizen

my wife is doing the PR and will be sponsoring me ..I have a few questions if someone can kindly answer them please.

* do I need to complete pack part 3 of forms? 5562 form? I will be submitting for outland London UK

* also as I'm home in UK and I have all the doc's from my wife's part of app once I finish my forms can I send the forms to mississauga with my sender details? pack would be posted from UK or does my wife who's in Canada have to send it? she has paid the $1040 we attached receipt copy to her forms.

* will the doctor give me form imm1017? also do my 8 photos go towards the pic need for medical

Hey, and welcome to the forum!

you need to complete the whole set of forms - your wife the part for sponsor, and yours is the second part, and in a third part, you can put all the proofs of relationship. The best is to download the application package from CIC website, and follow the guideline and the checklist step by step. the link is here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

the forms have to be sent all together, as one package. So send your part of the forms to your wife in Canada, she adds hers, and then send everything to Mississauga. You can not send your part to Mississauga separate, it will be sent back to you.
It doesn't matter if it's sent from the UK or from Canada, as long as it's sent as one package.

Once you have done the medicals, the doctor will give you a form to add to your application proving that you have done the medicals. The 8 pictures are for your application only, you need more for the medicals, depending on the doctor it can vary from 2 to 4, so call them in advance to ask for it. they don't necessarily need to be the same as the immigration one ( mine was a different set and it was fine).

yes I have all her form parts and all info required on here side -- as I'm leaving for the UK

we both thought be easier once I done my forms and info copies send the whole package from the UK instead of me sending back to her then she sending to the processing centre..thus delaying the application further.

so me sending the complete package from the UK with my sender details won't matter will it?

no - it won't matter. it needs to arrive as one package, with sponsor forms + sponsored forms + all proofs (+ medicals, police checks etc - everything that is on the check list).

If you send your forms first, or separate, they will be sent back because package in incomplete. same for her side. Bigger delay than sending her the forms, and her sending everything as a package.

Imm 5562 - no . On the checklist, it says " applicants submitting their application through Paris vo, should submit this form". So if you're going through London, no need.

Pack 3 is the guideline, but appendix A is the check list and is required. Appendix B isn't - it's for you to take when getting immigration pictures done to make sure they're the right format.
