They don't, they usually send it back the first thing they see. However, I am curious to know if these applications do have other things the officer flagged and then also noted the checklist would be out of date for resubmission. IF anyone has an app returned ONLY for the checklist, I feel for you, that's just shit.

The previous applicant said their application was returned for failing to use the most updated checklist which is why I was so confused. Theirs was received February 6th.

Hi, i have submitted spousal immigration of my wife on February 01, 2018 through canada post, the courier reached mississauga processing centre on February 2nd, 2018. So i am hoping to get their response soon !

You probably should give them a call though because you couldn't have known about a new checklist. Did you already receive your package in the mail or did you find out by calling?

In the notice it says they still accept the checklist which was Oct 2017 until March 15th.

I know which is why I suggested they call for clarity. They submitted the app before the new checklist was released and the application got returned before March 15 which makes no sense.

Hi , I sent the application on Feb 16 and they received it on Feb 19th. Waiting for my AOR1.
