Quebec (MIFI) approved that part of the eligiblity (letter received today). Just the background check left and hopefully that's all that needs to be done.

I did. A month after "We're reviewing medical" thing on GCKey, I got MIL.

So here's my timeline so far:
Feb 22: Submitted
Mar 08: AOR 1sent to Sponsor
Apr 04: BIL
Apr 05: SA
Jul 22: AOR 2 sent to PA
Aug 28: MIL
Sep 01: Medical Passed

This is a very weird time line, for 6 moths nothing happened. Also the sponsor eligibility letter did not mentioned to which Visa office the application was sent to.

I was given single entry visa. I applied with dual intent stating I want to reunite with my partner and wait for PR to finish in Canada.
