Thanks my friend.
I have to contemplate a little bit on this. The thing is I will get following scores depending on CLB levels:
CLB9-458
CLB10-464
and you know the scores are soaring higher close to 490. Therefore, I have to decide what should be my next step to at least have a chance to secure an ITA.
BTW, what about handwriting, does it have any impact?
Thanks
If score does not come down, PNP is the way ahead.
Yes, sometimes, handwriting plays a role, but as along as it is legible, you should not be concerned.

Thanks again. I will take some decision.
Hi everyone,
I have a question about ECA. I obtained a Master's degree in Canada, so I assumed I would not have to get an ECA. However, I wonder if I need to get an ECA for my Bachelor degree which was obtained outside of Canada in order to claim my skilled work experience outside of Canada. I worked as a teacher in my home country (this profession requires a Bachelor degree). I want to claim that skilled work experience, but my attempt to create an Express Entry profile has been unsuccessful (profile was assessed as ineligible). I suspect that it might have been because I listed my Bachelor degree in my education history but stated I did not complete an ECA for it. If I do not list my Bachelor degree and only list my Master's degree, will CIC reject my claim of skilled work experience outside of Canada?
It is such a hassle to obtain an ECA, so I was hoping I could avoid it.
Please advice! Thanks so much for your kind support!

With regard to the profile becoming ineligible, since you already have Masters from Canada, not getting ECA done for Bachelors probably is not the reason.
In addition to the CRS score, CIC assesses federal skilled worker applications based on six selection factors.
If you score 67 points or higher (out of 100), you may qualify to immigrate to Canada as a federal skilled worker.
If you score lower than the pass mark of 67 points, the applicant will not qualify to immigrate to Canada as a federal skilled worker and the Express Entry profile would be ineligible

She posted her info in another thread (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/confused-about-express-entry-eligibility-assessment-t445469.0.html;msg5385599#msg5385599), and as far as I can tell, she's eligible.
I've suggested that she recreate her profile, and ensure that she's entering all her info correctly, because I can't see a reason why she's ineligible.

One reason why this happens is because of the work experience. I have seen cases where applicants change their primary NOC and that the reasons are as follows -
1) The job with the updated NOC is not in the past 10 years.
2) They change the primary NOC alone and forget to update the work history table.

Your score in rest of the modules are good. If you are sure that you did really well, would suggest to get Writing module remarked. There are chances that you may get a 0.5 increase. Only go for it if you are really confident. The whole process will take 8 weeks and 50% of normal test fees. If score increases, you will get your money back.
Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding creating EE profile. Let's say if I opt to go for the re-evaluation of my IELTS score then am I not allowed to create a profile using the current results? Do I have to wait until the results of re-evaluation are out? Or, I can create a profile using the current result and later update my scores in EE profile.
Please suggest.

You can create a profile now as long as your current scores are valid and later update your EE profile when you get your new scores.

While selecting the NOC, the duties and responsibilities mentioned in the NOC should be a close match with the actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you at the respective job. You need not match the duties and responsibilities word by word, but the idea is to have the closest match in terms of the spirit of the duties and responsibilities (at least 60%-70% match).
Also, NOC should be selected on the basis of the match of actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you rather than the designation match in the NOC list. If you are not sure of your NOC, write to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca with your job title, duties and responsibilities and educational qualification, they will help you find the closest fit.
While submitting your application to CIC, you can attach the email that you receive from NOC Team along with an LOE.
thanks a lot stanlee..

Hi Experienced Members,
I happened to check my expected CRS scores from the below link:
cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
Upon checking, I have the below concerns:
I am married having a 1.5 year old child with my spouse as the primary applicant. I chose "Married" as the answer for 1)What is your marital status?
Continuing further, for the question 2)ii.Is your spouse/common-law partner coming with you? I chose "No" as this increases the overall points.
1) Assuming my wife gets the ITA , Will my child get the PR along with my wife?
2) What are the ways I can enter Canada to join them (since I have chosen not to accompany them at this stage ) ?
3) Can I be confident with the scores given in the link given above? Or are there any other links where I can check my expected CRS scores?
Your insights would be highly appreciated!
Thanks

Yes, most probably it would not have started.
Experts,
Just wanted to know the process of Express entry.
Once we get any PNP Nomination we will get 600 points added to our profile then we will get the invitation from CIC (after our profile picked up in the draw). Again do we need to send all our required documents to CIC or upload the documents with fee specified by CIC, and CIC will do the background check again and if yes how long does it takes to get the CORP.
Thanks,
VJ.

You are correct, once you get nominated and you accept the nomination 600 points will get added your CRS. Once you get ITA, as part of your eAPR, you need to upload scanned copies of all documents that you sent for PNP in addition to latest POF, Medicals and PCC.
Post submission of your eAPR, it takes anywhere between 6-8 months to get your application approved. Sometimes, it gets approved even in 2-3 months, it all depends on your application and the case officer and visa office which is looking into your file.
Once your application is approved and you get visa, you will have to land in Canada before the expiry of your Medicals or visa whichever is earlier.
