Hi Raj/Stanlee/Seniors,

I am in a tricky situation. I have been in the quest of arranging funds required for Canadian immigration and it seems like I would be able to arrange them. My father-in-law agreed to pay me some amount and rest of the amount I already have. But, the problem is that he wants to give me the cash amount and not by cheque. The reason being an unnecessary showing off the money to IT (I hope you got my point). Also, you know how it is with Indian Banks nowadays, depositing a large amount in your account takes a lot of efforts. I wish if you would be able to suggest me some alternative to this.

Thanks

Hello guys,

What's the way to pay RPRF, if one doesn't pay at the time of eAPR?

Hello all,

I used CRC points calculator and this is what I found out for EE:

I get 439 points if i apply with spouse (Spouse will not be taking IELTS and ECA)
I get 465 points if i apply alone

During January February CRC points were around 450-460 range so I assume I have a fighting chance if I apply alone. Given that OINP and SINP provincial nomination are currently closed what would you people suggest the best course of action for me to take. Apply as single and then sponsor family later on after I reach Canada? Apply with spouse with less points and hope for provincial nomination (what are my chances for that)?

Expecting a detailed answer from the experts.

Many thanks.

Hello,

I've recently received my TEF results but I'm not quite sure how to fill them. EE instructions seem ambiguous:
"For CIC to verify your Language Test Results, you must enter:
TEF (If you took the test on or after April 1, 2014): Attestation no – This number is composed of two sets of digits separated by a hyphen. It is located at the bottom of the first page of the test. Please provide all the digits without the hyphen.
HOW TO INPUT THE NUMBERS IN THE "Language Test Result Form or Certificate Number" FIELD
TEF (If you took the test on or after April 1, 2014): Enter the first "Attestation no" without the hyphen."

I'm not certain if this means I need to fill both sets of digits with no hyphen, or just the first one. Has anyone filled it before correctly?

Hi,

I am an Indian CA and working as Income tax consultant for past 10+ years. I classify under NOC 1111. However, the experience is in India and relating to India tax.

In which of the following questions it needs to be considered:

• How many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have? It must have been paid and full-time (or an equal amount in part-time)?

Does this require that the experience should be “in Canada”?

• How many years of skilled foreign work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation?

Regards

Hello everyone.

My AOR is 8th Feb 2016, awaiting PR.

The query is that my EE profile expires on June 20, 2016.

Will it affect my application?

Hi All,

I'm working in Uk since 1 year.

As a POF I provided a combination of below:

1) Bank letter for Indian account, which doesn't have much transactions in past 6 months. Bank didn't mention average balance as per their set practice so I provided the bank statement as well. I showed 11500 CAD in this account all transferred over last month by my parents. I provided gift deeds, transaction details, bank receipts, and statement from my account showing these transactions
2) My PF statement showing 7500 CAD, which can be withdrawn in 10 days of resignation, and held by my employer's trust.
3) MY PPF statement showing 950 CAD available to withdraw anytime.
All totalling ~ 20,000 CAD for a family of 3 (already more than the required 18,670)

My concern, is I've not provided bank statements from my UK account, do I need to worry. Does above documents suffice as POF?

And what is the way to pay RPRF now, If I didn't pay it at the time of submission, to avoid delay in processing?

Hello Everyone,

I have a quick question and if there is an existing thread on this, excuse my message and please advise so :)

My question is regarding Work Experience back at home. I have 1 year experience in my home country and I will input the information to update my EE profile.

My concern is that if back-home work experience should be under some certain professions? or Could it be anything as long as it is full time?

And what kind of proof would be asked as an evidence (except for employment letter ?

Many Thanks

it shouldnt. you should create a new express entry profile and once done, send an email / courier to OINP informing them of the new profile and job bank validation code. they will then process your application against the new profile.

My express entry profile score is 440. I am waiting for my wife's ECA report which should give me further 10 points. Is that enough? Past cut off scores rarely reach 450

Hello People,
Please advise on these.

I have an Msc in Facilities Management (18 months program), and a Bsc in Real Estate Management (5 years program) each from different universities but in the same country. Now, considering costs and time, which of the Degrees is advisable that i do ECA on? I am guessing ECA on just one of the degrees can earn maximum points as per CRS. Or is it compulsory to do ECA on all post-secondary degrees earned and listed on one's profile?

Secondly, I am applying as the principal, but is it compulsory or necessary for my spouse (I have a wife and a 1 yr old son, and they will accompany me if i get ITA) to also sit for IELTS, and have her degree(s) assessed as per ECA?

Thanks all for the help.

Hello

I created express entry profile and followed by job bank registration
I got 2 confirmation messages from CIC. 1st i got express entry code and job seeker code with which I updated my Job bank profile. Previously I had a old express entry profile so I dont have to create the Job Bank profile, i just updated the job bank profile with express entry code and job seeker code. And i make sure the job bank profile is active.

After updating the Job bank profile with express entry code and job bank code, i got the 2nd confirmation message from CIC saying Congratulations! You have been accepted to the Express Entry pool of candidates. Even my points are visible, and i met the CEC criteria.

However, issue is application status is Application/profile status Pending Additional Criteria
and Job Bank Registration Pending

Even though i updated the job bank profile, this status is not changing.

Now i am worried, whether i need to create new job profile with new email address or need to wait for few more days to get updated. Can some one please help me, how long it will take to update the status.

Thanks in advance,
Chandra

Hello Friends,

I'm planning to apply for WES ECA for my spouse. The problem is, my spouse's university is not on their list. I read WES FAQ and according to them, we still can apply for ECA even though the university is not listed and they would research on that.

Can I go ahead and apply for WES ECA ? Is there any one who did so even though the university is not listed ?

Thank you for your time.

Regards,
Chiranjeevi
