Detroit timeline to stamp PR visa and return of passports

I did, sent it thru xpressport last wed, but i missed the post ofc cut off so they werent able to send it out until thursday morning. tracking number status says 'International shipment has arrived in a foreign country', as of today. i guess they wouldnt receive it until monday.. how about you?

I didnt send it directly to detroit but to windsor and got received on 12th. So, I believe it will be received in Detroit the next day which is 13th. How many days do you think it might take to get back our passports with all these holidays coming up?

Im honestly not sure, depends on how long they're going for vacation for and when theyre operating again.. The sooner the better. Ill keep you updated

my tracking number status says 'Item on hold at postal facility to verify address of recipient'. they dont receive deliveries during the weekends, do they?

I dont think so.. I think it might be at the detroit post office just need to get delivered. On monday it should hopefully say delivered!

Yeah, I sent my 12/12/12...tracking # says recieved in foreign country on 12/14/12.
Silly me thought I forgot to take the tracking number of the return envelope so all I can do is hope for the best!

When they stamp the Visa ECAS goes to Decision Made, that is another way to know your passport is on its way back

I sent my and my wife's passports on Dec 2nd, they are delivered to Windsor on Dec 7th. Hope we can get them back before mid January....

Has your ECAS changed to Decision made yet and has the return envelope been activated?

Based in the timeline, i think you should get it in a week or two.

Its taking 2-3 weeks in total but with holidays coming up lets see how much more delay we expect to see.. I think some of us might get some news next week.

Hopefully first week of January. A few coworkers of mine have offered to drive me to the borders with some added shopping and eating before returing. Almost done you guys, cant go wrong by now!
