Detroit timeline to stamp PR visa and return of passports

Hello Panna

I just have question regarding the photographs. my copr has one photo attached and the second photo was returned in the envelope and officer did not ask for the second photo during landing. is it same for every one or the officer forgot to ask me and i brought the photo back.

Once you get your PPR, it would clearly state what documents you need to submit, to where, and by what date. So do ensure you follow those. In my case and for a lot of other applicants here, the following documents had to be submitted to the consulate:

1) PPR notification that you received
2) RPRF Fee of CAD 490 or USD 490 as Bank Draft/MO/Certified Check
3) Passport if you are from country that requires Visa to enter Canada, else a copy of Passport should suffice
4) 2 Photos as per PR specifications
5) Height and Eye Colour written on a piece of paper

Ya they did not pasted any pic on the copy of COPR they given to me......its same for everyone.....so dont worry.....

Hi garry27,

yes, they will return 2nd photo and that will be used by officer at border while you do landing formaties and he will attach that on your copy of COPR

Ya they have returned mine too....and its with me now ......no officer asked me for a photo while Landing...

My passport was received in Detroit on November 26. I'm hoping to get it back in the next 2-3 weeks. I'll update my timeline here if it helps others.

My eCAS shows Decision Made today. Hopefully my tracking number will become active soon. Does anyone know what the average timeline is between Decision Made in eCAS and receiving the passport?

nice! where are you located if you dont mind me asking? im sending my passport to detroit today, got my PPR yesterday.

saw your timeline, how did you get your passport back in 3 days? i sent mine today via expressport. and if you dont mind where are you located? just trying to figure out here how to get passports back in such a short period of time.

I'd guess ONAP went in person to Detroit and got the visa stamped on the same day.

Ahh, thats why unfortunately i cant fly to detroit as i will need a US visa to enter US. Did you do your landing already ranjith?

I went in person to Detroit and received my Visa and COPR. I'm now in my home country and intend to land sometimes early next year.

Guess the turn around from Detroit is quite quick these days, so hope you get it your visa and COPR quick and your landing goes smooth!
