Hi All/Seniors,
Just wanted to ask if you have ever sent a case specific enquiry using the CIC portal to get an update on PR application status. I am thinking about contacting Detroit but not sure if its a good idea. Basically I am worried about pissing them off
I wanted to ask:
1. How long does Detroit take to finalize CEC PR applications and send out PPR once file has been transferred from CPP-O? A general estimate would be helpful.
2. Is it ok to contact the CIC Detroit Visa Office for a status update on file even though it hasn't been 15 months as per the processing times? Just want to make sure I do no damage to my timeline, don't want to be put at the end of the stack, heard Seattle does that.
3. Any other tips to get a status update apart from GCMS as that's time consuming.
