My family recently received our PR visas and plan to travel to Toronto in 2 weeks for landing. However, my daughter is a student at University of Toronto, and she needs to travel on Monday to attend her classes. She holds a Study Visa and is able to enter, but my question is: It is acceptable if she is already Toronto when the principal applicant (myself) lands? and would she need to meet me to the airport to 'land'- or would she have to exit Canada and reenter??
She will have to exit and re-enter Canada after you have landed in order to land herself. Dependents cannot land before the primary applicant. She cannot meet you at the airport to land (she can only land at the airport if she is arriving that day on an international flight). She will either have to land the next time she returns to Canada on an international flight - or she can drive down to a US/Canada land border and land there.

From your response I hope your got the guide from Scylla she said meant that(1)She can drive down to Land Border say Buffalo (2) She can Land there and NOT DRIVE BACK TO LAND IN TORONTO(3)After the Principal applicant has already Landed....hope this helps
