Guys, based on MyImmiTracker data, people with AORs of Nov 29-30 are starting to receive their MEP today. December AORs will start being processed from tomorrow, so you can have a sense of when your turn will come.
Let’s hope the IRCC are now back to being fully staffed and that they pick up the pace.
Got my AOR on 30th Nov. MEP today on 9th Jan with the below message .
"You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date."
When is the earliest one should order GCMS to find out the current status? I've read a month before, but does that include the time between AOR and MEP or just post-MEP? I've read in some places that they don't process anything until MEP and other places have said they are processing other things at the same time as medical.
What I’ve learned so far from the August and September forums is that when you order GCMS notes, the notes will include only updates made to your file as of the date of your order. Since it normally takes about 5 weeks for your GCMS notes to come back, they will be 5 weeks old on arrival.
Unless your application is excessively delayed or there is reason for you to worry, I would recommend trying your luck with the IRCC call center in the hope of reaching a kind, amenable agent who is happy to share the progress of your application as of that day.

I'd be wary of that approach. I'm pretty sure if you call or do a CSE, you'll have notes entered into your GCMS. When you order GCMS, that's a public records request which doesn't go into your GCMS. I wouldn't want the VO seeing that I was trying to rush them by calling or doing CSEs.
Which is why I added the caveat that you shouldn't reach out to them unless your application is excessively delayed or you’re worried sick.
I, personally, wouldn’t order GCMS notes for myself. If the IRCC truly mean that their internal commentary or decision making are not influenced by a notes request, then what good does knowing the content of your notes do other than stress you out even more?
