this might be a dumb question...but

since most of you know my situation. I have not heard from Ottawa yet but I know my file is in there (successful Appeal) My MP tells me this, and says it has a number but waiting for a case worker. Should we wait to hear from them, or is there anything we can do now ? Thanks :-*

It will give you additional details (lots of them, actually) of what has been done with your file. Start at the end and read the notes first, they are the most insightful bit.

thanks so much ! One one hand, I dont want to read it because it has been nothing less than a nightmare for us but I am a very curious person.

I have another question for you :

As you know we won our Appeal last August. Will they still question the relationship or just finsih the file (as far as I know, we only have to do a medical and police report) Reason I ask....we are light on e-mails and phone calls. (every time I speak to my partner, it tears me up inside but I know they want to see it)

Thanks! Keep that hope alive and it just may happen, if my case isn't proof enough that positive mental attitude(or PMA as I like to call it lol) and a healthy dose of hope can and will bring you good things, then I have no idea what is. =) Keep your superstitions, but stay positive too!

Yes that's exactly right, I still don't even believe it. I'm convinced when I get to the border they're going to tell me it was a mistake lol
