I am applying outland through common law sponsorship under the London visa office.
I am including a cover letter to make my application slightly more accessible for the visa officer.
What should you include/ say?

This is entirely up to you. I would make it short - maybe just an overview of your relationship, and then an explanation of what types of proof you have included.
