Hello everyone,
I have a PGWP and been working for a company right now. I recently applied for the closed work permit and wondering if I should tick
1. An initial work permit or a work permit with a new employer
2. A work permit with the same employer
Since it will be from PGWP > closed work permit, I am correct to choose work permit with a new employer?
Thank you

Hello,
When applying for work permit after PGWP there are two ways:
- get ITA, apply for PR, get an approval from CIC and then apply for a bridging work permit
- or your employer can get you a LMIA and you'll switch to a closed work permit.
Did u get LMIA and a letter from PNP supporting the work permit application?
I am in same boat, the only difference my PGWP is still valid for 1 year and 1 months. I am expecting PR faster than that. My friend applied for PR through EE and applied for BOWP right away online. I think with closed work permit it is harder
