CLOSED WORK PERMIT & PANICKED

Here is my situation -

My husband and I moved to Québec on a closed work permit in 2012 sponsored by his company. Being a spouse I received an open work permit automatically and worked as a contractor for over a year. August 2015 our work permits were going to expire and we applied for an renewal a few days before with an LMIA exempt as we have a CSQ now. We are still waiting for our renewed work permit to arrive. In the meantime we have also applied for our Federal PR as well.

My husband recently found that his position in the company might be getting terminated in January 2016. I have started working as a fulltime employee for a new employer a month ago and I want to ask my employer to sponsor my closed work permit as they will not have to go through the LMIA process since we have a CSQ. What is the process that my employer will have to follow? How difficult is the process? Can I apply on behalf of my employer with just a letter of employment?

Any information to help our case is much appreciated.

I applied work permit extension through NS provincial nomination on 9th July 2015, However lack of knowledge i have not submitted LMIA Exemption form (IMM5802).
I just informed my employer about my application they are going to give in next week (they going to prepare now )
i'm working with the same employer from last 18 months
So my question is can i submit after getting the LMIA exemption form ? if yes how i can submit cause i applied in online there is no option to upload the new documents.

i called customer care they said if CIC request for new docs then only i can submit those.
and they said there is 99% chances of getting rejected if they dont request these docs.

so my question is if i get rejected can i get closed permit at border (CBSA) ? by showing all the required documents.
right now i'm in implied status once i get rejected i will go the restoration period.

your help and consideration is highly appreciated

My knowledge is very limited but what i know is you cant go outside canada now, as you are on implied status.
dont try to go outside border, they might not let you in as you dont have any current work permit .Second thing
so many ppl here said cic customer service gave them different answers, so i would suggest your something is
better than nothing. you should draft one explanation letter about your mistake and attach your employer form
then send it. Don't wait because they are totally unpredictable. cant take risk to wait.Still i would suggest to get
some more advise from this forum as i might b wrong. good luck.

hi mahesh,
we have the same situation... any updates on your work permit application?
any advise please. my working permit will expire on jan 13,2016.
i also did not include in my imm5802 offer of meployment application.
