I received a call from IRCC (private number) asking whether I am "still" in Canada. The IRCC representative mentioned my files is on the final stage of decision making process.
Is calling applicants a normal process ?

You will receive your portal email soon. It's normal. IRCC will call if they have any concern of your application. Many people receive the portal emails after they answered the call from IRCC. The phone number shows: No ID.

that's a good sign that your medical is re-passed. That's normally the last step before an approval.

My medical passed again 2 months ago, but no more update since then. Frustrated.

Anyone with PNP-CEC still waiting for the decision? Due to processing time of PNP as 10 months, I am not sure if i should contact MP or not. Anyone in same dilemma?

I'm PNP-CEC, and I'm currently waiting for my Portal 2 email with the PR Portal Credentials.

I contacted MP's about 5.5 month mark (Mid May), and they told me what I already knew from the IRCC call center, and that there was nothing they could do because the processing time for PNP is 10 months. You can try to reach out to them, but they most likely won't be able to help.

I contacted MP's about 5.5 month mark (Mid May), and they told me what I already knew from the IRCC call center, and that there was nothing they could do because the processing time for PNP is 10 months. You can try to reach out to them, but they most likely won't be able to help.

I am still waiting for background to get processed. Actually we submitted our PCCs late and as per GCMS notes, the background is not processed further even after submitting PCC in January. They haven’t touched our file since then.

On the tracker it does, yes. I just haven't received the Portal Creds so I can finalize the eCOPR and PR Card

Oh, gotchas. So how far after you saw COPR number in the tracker did you receive your first portal email?

It was actually the opposite for me. I received Portal email the day before the COPR Number was generated in the tracker.
