I’ve called a few times over the last couple of weeks and have gotten through most times at approx 830-9am with success.

Copy the number below (if you’re in Canada) and dial it, then just let it do it’s thing - it’ll automatically select the prompts for you and get you to the agent option the quickest - just be ready to give them your UCI and application number when they answer. If you don’t get through, then just try again a bit later. It saves so much time and waiting for the prompts etc - and you’ll know if you’re getting out through to an agent in less than 1m30s.

Called IRCC to confirm the GU3. Security is now passed. Accdg to then, it’s just a matter of time.

Tracker says BG not started.
SVO is now Etobicoke - intially Ottawa.

Tracker seems to update after a few days. I got my GU3 last Thursday and PR approval email Friday, and the tracker showed BG not started till yesterday. Today it shows as passed, with date Feb 2(same day as GU3). So cannot even trust the tracker as the latest data.

Yeah, we really shouldn’t rely on the tracker lol its a trap.

I am guessing due date means, The next engineer will re-check on that date.

My file is filed by my lawyer, I have informed them to order GCMS note if they can. Fingers crossed, Hoping to get the confirmation soon!

What mail ID does the email come from? I am scared it will go into my spam and I will miss it

I checked the status tracker website today and it said these:
Background: Completed
Medical: Completed
Biometrics: Completed
Eligibility: Not Started

But in IRCC website my Background is still at "We are processing..."

The PR tracker just updated today, looks like it updates every 7 days? (Since it was last updated on Feb 1). They just officially posted the news about the new tracker so we’ll see how it goes.
Anyway, Eligibility for me switch from Not Started to Completed today but my spouse remains Not Started.
Background Check is Not Started, which matches with what says in my application.

For my spouse and kid, the eligibility shows not started. Although I got the portal emails and submitted the info. It looks like Eligibility is for principal applicant only. Also, I have not received COPR so far but the trackers show the document nos. for the same.

There is no reason in today's day and age and technology, they can't run automatic batch updates nightly to pull the data - regardless if there is an update to the account or not.
