Any idea how long info sharing for US people takes?
No idea. I have been stuck in this info sharing stage for a while. My eligibility passed a month ago.
Yesterday, I ordered another GCMS note with the hope that it will trigger the agent's review of my application. I am currently exploring all possible options, regardless of how low the chances are, to move the process forward

Hey, is info sharing the only thing missing for you? Should info sharing happen in advance of the background check? My BGC is completed, however
agent says my info sharing is in progress
AOR - Nov 7
PVO: Ottawa
1 in-land dependent
Everything is passed as of Jan 19 2023 except for dependent eligibility. I guess dependent eligibility is not required.
Called IRCC and they said just wait for confirmation email. But it's been almost 2 months with no update after eligibility passed.
I entered 5th month of processing as of today. According to ircc agent the processing time is 16 months!
No idea how long this entire process is going to take. If everything is passed why would there be a delay with email

You ordered GCMS yesterday? Good luck. I'm still waiting for mine that I ordered in December

Hi- No, my criminality and security are not started yet. I was under the impression that information sharing was conducted prior to criminality and security, but who knows...

I ordered one in January and am still waiting for it. The purpose of this order was really just to trigger an agent's review, hopefully...
Seems we have the same AOR and VO.
Nice!!! Did you also have a Ghost Update on Jan 31 (or around that time) for your Background check? A bunch of Vancouver VO saw that mass update.
My AOR is Oct 18 and I still waiting. Someone with mid-September AOR has just been approved, there's no rule
And some with Feb AOR got approved in Feb haha. The way they work - forever a wonder and a myth lol
Thank you so much for your tip 2-1-2-0. Just finished my call with IRCC. Here is my update:

My son hasn't passed BIO for visa, we received separate invitation for him on Dec 30th, 2022. We gave BIO on Jan 4th, 2023.
We received ADR (IMM5604) on Feb 03rd, 2023, uploaded it on Feb 07th, 2023. Status for
Review of additional documents changed to
Not applicable the next day.
The agent told that everything looks fine and after security check is passed, I'll receive the final decision.
Guys, so if eligibility is passed, I shouldn't be worried about application refusal due to eligibility right?

They will never give you time to respire cuz now you need to worry whether you may be stuck on security screening forever or not.

Getting this PR decision would allow me to move on my life in many ways:
- applying for new jobs without worrying about WP expiry
- focusing on social life
- looking into mortgage and credit extensions
Right now, Im just in limbo. Can't even really have fun while worrying about this

Same here bro/sis. Too much at stake. I know people say don’t put all your eggs in one basket, but sometimes you just have one egg
