CEC July 2018 EE, delayed...any updates on other applicants?

Hi guys,

I applied for CEC EE in July 2018 and it's been almost 11 months now and I haven't heard anything since medicals passed. I got the notes and it only says eligibility under review. Called CIC few times and they emailed me saying my application "is in queue for review by an officer". Is anyone in the same boat. I have checked immitracker and most people from July 2018 cec have gotten their PR. I know I just have to wait but any input from similar applicants will be helpful.

I'm also in same boat, my AOR is 7 sept. Even im getting same reply from them that my file in queue. We can't do anything other than wait. Try contacting your MP and see if he can get an update.

I think it is highly dependent on MP too. I had no luck with my MP. hope things work out in your case better . good luck!

I feel like if the job eligibility was not reviewed and passed it wouldn't have gone this far. I am under eligibility review too, it must be more like background check taking long and number of backlogs

I hope so dude. I've basically given up all hope, I just need closure now. Do you have any idea if they have contacted your employer? I emailed them the other day asking them straight up to give me something other than the usual copy and pasted reply and let me know if my eligibility is passed or not.

I don't know if they have contacted my employer, on my GCMS notes I saw the analyst made note saying "The applicant hasn't posted too much job duties but it seems like it matches NOC" A11.2 and R87.1 Appears met" and says Review Required, probably for the officer to review... so that's where I stand lol
