I called passport office today and they said the timeline is not 20 business days. It's 6 to 8 weeks these days.

This is so frustrating 6-8 weeks just to print a passport...... WOW

Damn. Then I got nothing.Did they not offer a pickup date for you when you submitted?
Still feel overall in person applications are moving faster but maybe it’s a small sample size

Apply in person yesterday. Paid a regular fee and the receipt said passport will be mailed in 2 weeks.

Note I put down a potential travel date but I don't have any proof and they didn't ask.

Hi Guys, my passport application was delivered on Sept 2nd, and they just charged my credit card yesterday (Sept 22), how long after they charge your card does it take to receive passport?

NO pickup date mentioned, I was told that passport will be delivered by mail within 4-5 weeks from the date of submission,
I believe it has some thing to do with travel dates, since I didn't mentioned any dates for me and for all my family.

I didn't mentioned date of travel because I had no plans for travel but this thing is getting on my nerves as it already 5 weeks since I submitted passport app.
