Just imagine, the entire process of Canadian immigration used to take 5-6 years before. I had a colleague who told me her stories--it took a good 5.5 yrs before their case was finalized. Considering that it's much, much faster these days, even with all the delays.
Hope this would make you feel a little better.
We had our newborn on Jan 28 and sent new IMM0008 on Feb 14. As we are waiting for the new medical forms for the newborn and my wife's X-ray, I am going to schedule the Medical examination with the same doctor we went to before. The uncertainty is that we may not receive the medical forms before the examination. It seems that, if we are willing to spend/waste the medical exam money, CIC has no problem for us to proceed with the examination. In other words, we can proceed with the examination with the doctor's forms rather than the forms sent by CIC (they are same forms but CIC ones have all the applicant's information filled already). I would like to confirm that with you members. Thanks a million!

Congrats on your baby, mafoi. I don't know much about issues you're asking. However I think that it's feasible, at least Ottawa will accept any forms from Designated Medical Office. I wouldn't be worry then . Again, congrats...
I f u mind telling me one thing that what you do of medical examination specially Xray during the pregnancy in case you recieve the medical forms that time ?
Any one else has idea ?
Thanks
