Yes everything has been approved. ARC, and our marriage. They requested the passport after that. Do you know how long it normally takes the receive the passport back after it’s submitted?

It takes from 2 to 4 weeks. Congrats.
But may I ask how you were able to know that his ARC specifically was approved? I mean did they send an email or anything regarding ARC in particular?

I am August 2019 AOR for AINP and my wife needed an ARC. I sent a good covering letter with my application explaining the reasons of why my wife’s family was deported 18 years ago.
Last week I was requested for payment of 400 dollars only and not the ARC letter from London VO.
Does this mean that the ARC has already been approved and they are just ensuring the payment, or will the ARC processing start now? How much time should we expect?

Processing starts once you pay the processing fee. No specific time frame: could be two weeks; could be three months; and could be more. And they probably haven't asked for the letter because you submitted one upfront.

It would be a good idea to get touch with a MP and have them get an update from the Visa office.

What is your VO and reason for the ARC?
