I landed june 16 at toronto via Eithad air . landing is very smooth ten min i was out from air port. Immigration officer ask me just few simple question and he sent me to SIN card which i got it there at the air port.I hope you and other members will come soon too.

So i got an interview appointment for mid September regarding my ARC application yesterday.
I have an accepted H&C grounds application.

Is 3 months considered fast or a long period for an interview?
Anyone knows what questions to expect at the interview?

Yea 3 months is the average time to get an interview date. I have no idea what kind of question they will be asking. Only someone who had an ARC interview will be able to answer that. Maybe google it and see what you find.

I believe your Arc is not related to a sponsorship application so I really don't know what they are checking but you should review the operations manual that deals with Arc, I posted the link in this forum. My understanding is that they review the reasons you require the arc, that whatever led you to it is not an issue anymore, ties in Canada and establishment in the country, similar to the H&C application.

Congrats, that was fast lol. Mine took 2 months to get approved and a month after approval I got PPR.

You mean since its not a sponsorship application they need to review my ties and establishment in Canada?
My H&C was approved after i was deported.
I submitted the reasons why i was accepted H&C grounds in the ARC application, i hope it's gonna be just some review to see that all the paperwork are in order.

Either way, why accept someone on H&C or sponsorship and then refuse his ARC, really waste of time, money and energy. Nonetheless fingers crossed.

HELP!!!!!! Ok so I'm confused. They asked me to send two pictures along with the passport but the picture requirements say the picture has to be 2 inches wide X 2 3/4 inches long. That's seems abnormally huge. I went to take the pictures and as I figured they seem so big My face alone seems like the size of a passport photo They made a simple picture so difficult

Does ARC fall in the normal processing time as well? Has anyone emailed cic and got any good info.
We are over the 12 months wait emailed them and they said they will let us know when they finalize our apllication or if they need more information.

I have asked and met with my MP because we have been waiting for 20 months now and we still don't have an answer.
All they can do is make an inquiry with the VO.
I asked my MP to make a Ministerial inquiry as to why there are so many differences on how VO are dealing with Arcs, in terms of processing times, I gave him all the info I have but I don't have a lot of hope , he is after all a politician and their response is that there are no publishing timelines for Arcs. Its really disappointing that our VO makes us wait so long and there is no-one we can go to.

Hey jimmy i am also comming in next few days ;D but i have a question how much time you wait for immigration process and check out process in air port??? And how was your experience in pearson international airport?
