Well, that is the new normal but not what was going on from last many years. As there are changes going on in the IRCC system including prioritisation, so at this moment, you can expect the normal process that’s going on since years but don’t completely rely on it.

Yes. The same day. And I got an email saying that the application was received. Is that the AOR or is there a document?

I think someone is making a mess out of my row in the sheet. Just to let you all know I got the biometrics, SA and then an email that's says my application was received on 08/05 which I assume is the AOR.

Hi everyone! Im new here, we submitted our application on 30th of July, couldn't find a thread for July 2020 so joined August instead. We received our AOR just yesterday Nov 3rd and we also received an approval of the sponsor yesterday itself.
Apart from that, just some good news, IRCC has increased its staffing by 66% to work on sponsorship applications! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.im...processing-times-for-spousal-sponsorship/amp/

We did not however receive the biometrics or medical request... Is that normal?

I have received a biometric req. email (03 Nov 2020), Application received email (04 Nov 2020), Sponsor approval email (04 Nov 2020); but I 'haven't received any AOR email yet? Am I missing something!
I'm wondering if the SA email is enough to consider that all my documents were in order and correct (no missing docs), and my file won't be returned?

Yup! You wouldn’t have recieved application received email if the file was not complete!

how did you get it ? An email or letters? Are you the application one or the sponsor one?
