I have submitted a webform request asking for application number with all our details, representative and consent form. Hopefully they give me in few days.

I got two webform responses for my request.

One said that they received my representative form but that no application is currently under processing - they didn’t open my spouse application package from august yet?

The other one said that I need to just refer to the courier company confirmation for delivery.


Now that I have confirmation that I am representative I need to call again, but since there are so many other folks who applied before us waiting not motivated to call and get that temporary number. Should call anyway I guess just to make sure they didn’t loose our package - put it in a white cardboard box. Wonder whether they misplaced.

Meanwhile since my friends friend got visitor visa for spouse we did apply for visitor visa online as a backup just in case the PR application takes a year or so and it’s been several months since we met. No harm trying a guess.

He does have a open work permit visa in his passport. Since I am not in work permit and got PR, not sure whether he can use it as open work permit based on his pending PR application. Another question to ask again, last time when I called to ask this they said I need to be representative to talk about this and being a spouse isn’t sufficient

Enough reasons to call now I guess!

My application was received on August 17th. I called IRCC yesterday and got XF temp file number. I forgot to ask for approximate
AOR date.
Also I noticed AOR1 was given to 8 applicants in June according to spreadsheet. Hopefully
we get AOR1 soon.

Yup, The sponsor will receive AOR Email

If you guys are interested in getting temp file no. give a call to IRCC. My documents reached on 5 Aug and I got a temp no.

Can I ask what information you had to give to get the temp number?

Also, does anyone know what the email subject will entail for AOR - paranoid the email will go in to spam and I will not see it!

Hi, I would like to send a webform request too. I am the sponsor who applied for outland sponsorship for my wife who lives outside canada. However when I tried to send webform, it was unsuccessful because it was asking for either application number or applicant's UCI number. But my wife does not have any client ID or UCI number. Is there any way to overcome this issue?

Better to give them a call. Sometimes with web form details they are unable to find. Call will be more interactive and better for them to search.

No don't call them...the number that ends 2100 is total bulshit...just a waste of time and nerves
