Hi! As far as I understood from your previous comment, you were able to link it even before having the notification email. So, in that case which date you used as her becoming a permanent resident day? The nature of my question is, I had my P2 yet, nothing-no FD- before that. So, when I try to connect it, I do not have a date to put there, hence I can not connect.
I believe the date you become a PR is the date you receive eCoPR, not when you get the final decision or P1/P2.

Hello,

Is there anyone who received ecopr after portal 2 on Dec. 19-21? I was wondering because my husband needs to travel out of country for some reason, and he has not received ECOPR yet. Should he visit out of country or should he wait for ecopr ? I will appreciate your help.

Hi everyone.
Short history Dec 2nd background completed and COPR info appeared on GCKey, waited for a week no update, so I mailed P1 info myself. I got P2 email in return and submitted my info the next day, by Dec 12nd. Since then, a month in couple days, it is dead silence. My submission in portal still waits for confirmation since then. I have tried every possible way to get somewhere, call centre call, webform, technical support message, the best I can get is "you are still in average processing time", yet I see many people getting their actual PR cards by now, while I still wait.
So, should I try to escalate it to MP at this point, since it seems like I can not get anywhere with IRCC? Or does this much of wait sounds normal to you?

Not sure about family sponsorship timeline. But many in other stream that received P2 in end of Oct are still waiting for eCOPR...

I am pretty much sure, thousands of people waiting in tens of other streams. I am neither special, nor looking for special treatment. Yet, what gets me is when I do my part as soon as I can I expect the same, considering it is just a final confirmation left, everything else is done. Also, a bit of accountability and transparency could have helped, instead of using average processing time as a shield for "I owe you no explanation, I can let your case sit as much as I can" attitude and leave people in the dark on such a crucial subject.
I know, you neither advocate IRCC, nor mean any ill will. Same goes with this comment, nothing personal, I am just venting off:D

I understand the frustration. I am just letting you know that you are not alone. :(
It's creating a lot of issue when p1, p2 and eCOPR is dragging for so long in between.
e.g. in the future, people who left Canada and got issue eCOPR outside may have issues and I don't think IRCC have considered that and have a solution.

i'm surprised that you can "mailed P1 info yourself" and even "got P2 in return"
we're all frustrating with IRCC but consider yourself is lucky enough and just keep waiting

Why am I feeling lucky when they do a soggy job and I am the one, who has to poke them constantly?
