As you can see on the Citizenship Applications Spreadsheet, you're not alone. Don't worry, it just takes some time (by the way, not exactly the same amount of time to everybody - it varies a lot) and nobody here knows exactly why
You can go to UPS website, select "Calculate Time and Cost" option and put the origin and destination postal codes to calculate the time to delivery from your postal code. I think UPS Express is faster than Fedex to Sydney NS. I'm not sure about Canada Post Priority. I have used UPS Express from Winnipeg to Sydney and my application was delivered today.

Thanks for the info. I think also it depends the distance from your location to Sydney. I live in Edmonton, Alberta. It is quite far even to the fastest courier. Do you live in a province near to Nova Scotia?
