Hello we hope this week we get the AOR , but I think today is off not working day so let see and hope , let share our experience and time frame , thanks
Been waiting for an AOR since 14 days now. I have heard the average time is 8-10 days, anyone knows if the application has to be returned for any reason how long does that take and I guess you don't get an AOR in that case, right!

Don't worry, you should be getting your AOR soon. The timelines vary from one applicant to the other, but that doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with their application.

Please add my details to the database. I applied today for my citizenship i.e on 18th April, 2017. However, I see on some of the posts that people are quoting that they applied to a specified office like Victoria or Winnipeg. I dint see any such option on the form. I just sent my application to Sydney, NS. Am i missing anything here?

Yes, all applications are sent to Sydney, NS. But, after an initial processing there, the application is then transferred to CIC's local office and some of them are faster than others. You can just mention the city you live and that would give an idea of your local office. The full list of local offices is here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/help.asp
